Dig in Egypt June/July 2014!

Paperwork, reports and monograph chapters are slowly being completed for the Tell Timai 2013 season, which can only mean one thing, application time for the 2014 season!
If you want to go on an archaeological dig in Egypt, and let’s face it, you do, you should apply for this one. I’ve been on it 3 times and it’s fantastic. It’s a great team to work with, the dighouse is nice with rooftop views over the rice paddies, the locals are friendly (“Hello! Hello! What your name? Welcome on Egypt!”), the site is huge and interesting, you get to go on excursions to places like the Pyramids (you get to go inside!), Alexandria (Scuba diving and Biblioteca and Catacombs!), Cairo (shopping!).
Here is some info –
Also, if Egypt is looking at all dangerous to be in, they won’t go. You won’t be in the middle of a war zone or anything.
